Please visit and share ReachHigherNM.com for information regarding the Opportunity and Lottery Scholarships.

Rather than a separate process for applying for the scholarship, New Mexicans must:

1.       Apply: Start by applying to a New Mexico public college or university.

2.       Complete the FAFSA: We encourage all current and prospective students to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

3.       Enroll: Once accepted to a New Mexico public college or university, enroll and register part time or full time. Scholarships are automatically applied by the college or university.

If you have any questions please contact Financial Aid Hotline at 1-800-279-9777 or via email at Fin.Aid@state.nm.us.
